Ray Crawford

Ray Crawford has served as the Lead Pastor for Claremore First Methodist Church for the past twenty-five years and now also serves the Presiding Elder for the Tulsa District of the Heartland Conference of the Global Methodist Church. Ray is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, and earned his Master’s Degree of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary. In 2007 he was awarded a Doctor of Ministry from the Theological School at Drew University. His former ministry in the United Methodist Church of Oklahoma includes serving on the Board of Ministry, The Oklahoma United Methodist Foundation, and chairing the boards of the New Faith Communities ministry, and the Wesley student ministry at The University of Tulsa. Ray and his wife Cathy recently celebrated their fortieth anniversary. They have two adult children who both serve in local church ministries, as well as four wonderful grandchildren. Ray enjoys travel, reading, and bass fishing.
