June 2026 marks 46 years of ministry, rooted in a lifelong calling to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Craig Atkinson served for 14 years in the United Methodist Church, pastoring and leading congregations across Kansas, including Lucas Albright & Wesley (1980–1982), Salina First UMC as Associate Pastor (1982–1984), Marion Valley UMC (1984–1988), and Cimarron & Kalvesta UMC (1988–1992).

In June 1992, he founded Cornerstone Ministries, Inc., a ministry dedicated to helping pastors and congregations effectively reach their cities and regions with the gospel. As founder and president, he is passionate about equipping believers for ministry—living out the call described in Ephesians 4 to prepare the saints for the work of God.

Though he sensed God’s call at a young age, he resisted ministry for nearly twenty years before fully surrendering his life to Christ. Since then, he has served for over three decades as an Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher. While he has preached in churches and evangelistic settings and seen hundreds come to faith directly, he considers one of his greatest joys to be equipping others—through whom tens of thousands have come to Christ.
