My wife, April, and I have been married since 2003 and have a daughter and son. I am delighted to be the pastor at Zion Methodist Church of Gordonville and have been here since the summer of 2019. I didn’t grow up Methodist, but have always been Wesleyan in theology. I graduated with a BA in Religion from Mid-America Nazarene University in 1999 and an MDiv. from United Theological Seminary in 2016. I was relieved to be ordained in 2021, and today am truly enjoying all things Global Methodist!
Favorite Scripture – Jeremiah 20:9  “But if I say I’ll never mention the Lord or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it!”
Fun fact – While living in mostly Missouri since 1985, I was born in Oklahoma where my family developed a passion for both OU and OSU. Most Oklahoma people (and several outsiders, too) find my dual respect rather frustrating.
