In June 2024, I will celebrate 44 years of ministry. From 1980 to 1992 I served as a pastor in the Kansas West Conference of the United Methodist Church. In 1992 I established Cornerstone Ministries Inc, and for the last 31 years I have been working with Pastors and Church Leaders to help them and their congregations reach their city and region with the gospel of Jesus Christ. In July of 2023 I accepted the appointment as Pastor of the Otterbein Methodist Church in Russell, KS and then was appointed as Presiding Elder for the N.W. Kansas District of the Heartland Conference. My focus has not changed. I believe it is our calling to reach every city and region in the Heartland Conference by showing the Love of God and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Favorite Scripture – Romans 1:16-17 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; for the Jew first and also the Greek. For therein the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: as it is written; The just shall live by faith.”
Fun Fact – I will be 71 years old in February 2024 and Russell is the 26th town in Kansas where I have lived.
