Amanda Peterson

Amanda was born and raised in Western Oklahoma. She graduated with an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary and was ordained an elder in 2009. Her pastoral ministry began in 2001 with a passion for small churches and rural communities. Amanda is the pastor of First Methodist Church Cheyenne and Hammon Methodist Church.
Favorite Scripture: 1 Peter 2:9 “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
Fun Fact: The FMC of Cheyenne, where Amanda is currently serving, is the church her parents were married in. It is also the church her father, and both of her grandfathers, grew up in. Her son is the fifth generation from both sides of her family to be a part of the FMC of Cheyenne.
