Basics of Preaching

The Basics of Preaching is an Advanced Lay Ministry Training Course that will consist of seven weeks of Zoom calls.

Week by week, participants will work through the process of crafting a Biblical sermon. Each session builds on the last as we move from prayer and careful study of Scripture to identifying the central message, shaping the sermon, and preparing to proclaim God’s Word with clarity and confidence.

You must have completed the foundations Course to enroll in the Basics of Preaching.

Zoom calls will be on Monday’s from 7pm -9:30pm starting on October 5th – November 16.

You must attend all seven zoom classes to complete the course and complete a 10-12 minute sermon during the final session.
